I theorize we will see more of this with the new easy way of checking play time. Like someone can see all your in-game information/ip address, etc. TL DR: There is something wrong with the fact that soo many people get their accounts stolen even with proper security measures in place.

But if jagex security features like a password/2fa were required on steam thats even more secure for yall right? So why not have those features to begin with? You could double the security of the steam client by utilizing those features.

You can unlink by logging into the runescape account settings on rs3 homepage>linked accounts>manage steam>unlink If (and thats a big if)you’re steam account is compromised they can get access to your osrs accounts with no trouble if it is linked to an osrs account. And it didnt require a password, or a 2fa even being waaaaaay over 30 days since last login. Have not logged onto the steam client since day 1. Decided to check for myself if it bypasses everything.
